Where it all began 2

A silhouette covered my body; I was drenched with blood, on my back on what seemed like a cloud. As I looked closer I saw a brown haired man with eyes that seemed like the sea after a storm looking at me, mouthing words I could not read. He kept repeating them over and over again till he finally collapsed over me, and I could see the object that penetrated him, a lightning bolt , bright and glowing. Tears flowed non-stop as I yelled constantly but no words came out except for the one name: Alexandros. A dark figure hovered over me; he slowly stuck the lightning bolt in further and further through the man who was on top of me. He lifted it up and struck him in the small of his back and the back of his legs.

"ALEXANDROS!" I screamed. I screamed and screamed. It was torture; it felt horrible watching the man stab him so many times, almost heartbreaking. The man on top of me had light brown hair and hazel eyes, he slowly lifted his head up, he still had strength, he was still alive! As he lifted his head up further I saw that he resembled Ed, with a warm smile, he kissed me gently on the cheek and whispered or mouthed something I could not tell what it was. With his remaining strength he wrapped his strong firm arms around me. The dark figure was about to strike one last time. He hovered over us, more tears came forth. The dark figure began to speak.

"Momo" he whispered. It suddenly felt as if the whole floor was shaking. I looked around every thing was shaking. The pillars collapsed.

"MONET!"

I awoke with tears in my eyes. Ed looked at me. His face was very close to mine.

"AHH!" I screamed as I backed away, "WHAT THE F---- ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" I said as I got up and threw the nearest object at him.

"Ouch Momo, sorry for worrying, I kept contacting you but you wouldn't even answer." He said wiping the remaining tears from my eyes and cheeks. I looked around. It was only me and him. I looked at his light brown hair, and deep consuming sea like eyes exactly like the Alexandros from my so called "dream".

"Ed, can I tell you something?" I said sitting up. He took me into his arms.

"Sure of course Momo you can tell me anything you know that…" he said, he began to lightly brush the hair out of my face, but after you have to let me tell you something back. I nodded. He began to hold me tighter.

" I had a 'dream', it involved Alexandros and well…me. He was protecting me our something from this black figure…" Ed cut me off, he didn't let me finish.

" I love you."

I sat there in confusion… "What…uh…" dumbfounded.

"Was Alexandros or well technically me saying I love you?" he made his grip on me tighter.

"Well he was saying something, I couldn't quite tell it was as if he were mouthing it or I couldn't just hear at all but if I recall it does look like he is saying I love you."

He grabbed my arm and pulled me down the sterile white halls, "we're going to see Ms. C."

All I could do was let him yank me around till we found Ms. C. as we walked I couldn't help but stop staring at Ed. His warmth surrounded me, his perfectly firm and buff arms could pierce into my chest and pull me heart out and claim me as his. He turned his head slightly, his eyes, his eyes were the most beautiful part of him. A deep consuming sea you were to stare at them you would never look at peoples eyes the same way. You would always imagine they were him, his perfect features, perfect eyes, perfect hair, and perfect body.

I looked down at my hand. Even his hands are perfect. He is just simply perfect. Beautiful, almost like a god! Well then this is just what you expect from a result of god gifts. I started thinking about last nights study. Explaining, Alexandros and Aegle.

- Alexandros was born a year before Aegle. When Alexandros was born, Zeus had killed his parents and raised him. When Zeus had brought Alexandros back to Mt. Olympus, the gods gathered, Ares appeared first, he gave him the gift of manly courage, next was Hermes, who gave him the gift of athleticism, and last Apollo gave him the gift of archery. Hoping with this they would make a great man, a better human man then any other.  Of course, Aphrodite gave him the gift of beauty, so he could be as beautiful as the gods surrounding him. Zeus left Alexandros in the care Aphrodite.  

Zeus then began his search for what was going to become the most beautiful human woman the perfect woman. He soon got tired of searching so he sent Hermes to help him. After a year of searching, Hermes had finally found the perfect human child to become the perfect human woman. Her "father" had died of illness, and her mother died giving birth. Hermes immediately took the human woman child to Zeus, Zeus was amazed. He immediately called the goddesses. Hera stood in awe. She immediately gave her the name Aegle and gave her the gift of childbirth. Artemis gave her the gift of hunt, Athena gave her the gift of wisdom, Demeter gave her the gift of fertility, and Aphrodite gave her the gift of ultimate beauty, the only human allowed to be more beautiful than her.  

Once Aphrodite took hold of another child to care for, she raised them well, gave them well meaning. Every once in a while, goddesses would check up on Alexandros and Aegle, Athena was the first to visit; she cared more for Aegle than Alexandros. But still held love for him as if he were her own son, as did many of the other gods.

Athena secretly gave Aegle the gift of strategy, and gave Alexandros the gift of reason. Following her was Ares, who gave Aegle the horrid gift of bloodlust, and gave Alexandros the horrid gift of violence. Once Aphrodite had found out about the gifts, she wouldn't let the gods near the children unless she or Hephaestus
were around the children. But she soon broke her own rule, when the two children had turned 6 and 7 she gave them the gift of pure, innocent, Love. Love that would last for years to come, no matter how many generations or centuries passed. –

We came to a stop. Ed's grip tightened on my hand. Here, Ms. C is here. I looked at the sign that was on the blinding white door. LABORATORY. He knocked on the door, "MS. C!"

We waited a few minutes; we could tell she was on her way to the door she was tripping on her way there. She slowly opened the door. " oh dear lord it the devil duo," she swung her head back as if she were praying to god to make us leave, " what can I help you with?"

Ed nudged me forward, and whispered, "Tell her." I swallowed air, started coughing, after a while I was able to go back to normal.

She sat me down, "well… I am having 'visions'" I said using air quotes. She looked interested. "Oh like?" she asked.

I began to tell her the whole scenario of my dream, she looked surprised.
"Well… seems you're Aegle, I was seriously thinking that Selene was Aegle."

I scoffed, "and why was that?" she turned around, and ignored me.

'Great. What an 18th birthday surprise this is.' I thought. As soon as she took some blood samples we left for the rest area. Angel and Harrison were sitting on the couch watching TV.  They smiled as soon as the saw we walk in.

"'Sup!" Said Harrison, "it's been a while since I saw you, now that I think about it, last time I saw you was last month!"

"Ya, you have grown Harry! You're a giant!" I said, as he smiled even more making his glasses slide down the bridge of his nose, "so how is it going with the mechanics down stairs? They treating you nicely? You outsmart them?"

As soon as I started talking about down stairs he kept a straight serious face, "actually, Momo, so you know I have a lot to learn, I may know a lot but im still a student, on the verge of knowledge, there is so much down there to learn! It's not the usual, hardware, mother drive, nuts and bolts. Its way better than that, they use high tech systems!" he said flailing his arms in excitement.

Harry or Harrison is a year younger than us, he is talented for his age, he loves technology, and things that have to do with mechanics. He is a child of metal. He transferred down stairs with the mechanics and scientist to help build our machines, which seem to take much more time then they told us. Out of 10, 3 people including Harry moved down stairs. 4 people left to help Ms. C in the lab and the rest are with us. 3 people remained in the attack squadron. Make that five since the two new members Selene and Damon. But then again, Angel was transferring to the lab.

"So angel when are you transferring to the Lab?" asked Harry. Angel just chuckled, " oh, soon very soon." She gave a cheerful smirk, " now more importantly wasn't it someone's birthday yesterday?" he said

I nodded. Harry, and angel pulled out packages from behind their backs, " here" they said together.
